Since 2018, Denmark has experienced a remarkable rise in entrepreneurial spirit and today holds a strong position on the list of the most entrepreneur-friendly countries. This development is largely driven by increased visibility of entrepreneurial culture, which inspires new companies to think in innovative solutions to societal challenges.
Support for entrepreneurial initiatives is crucial, as it is through innovation that the welfare society is strengthened. Linucare is an example of this movement; a journey that included a successful participation in Løvens Hule (Dragon's Den), where the company received an investment to accelerate its work with welfare technology. We have chosen to focus on the growing elderly population, which today numbers over 1.2 million Danes over 65. By utilising the individual citizen's personal network, rapid assistance in emergency situations is ensured, creating value for both relatives and the public sector.
A mission for immediate help
At the core of Linucare's mission is addressing the need for immediate support for elderly citizens through accessible technology. The solution is based on an intuitive mobile app and integration with smartwatches, making it possible to call for help regardless of where you are. Continuous dialogue and feedback from users is an important part of development to constantly improve the service.
